This document applies to the beta sign-up on motoways.cz. We collect only the data necessary to select participants for the closed beta.

2. Data We Collect

When you apply for the beta we collect the following data:

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Processing of your email, bike type and city is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you provide by ticking the checkbox in the sign-up form. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6).

IP address is processed on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for API operational security.

4. Recipients of Personal Data

  • Vercel Inc. (API and website hosting, USA) — transfer covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC 2021/914/EU).
  • Plausible Analytics (website analytics, EU) — cookie-free, no individual tracking, only anonymised aggregate data. No cookie consent required.

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Ways does not use tracking cookies. Website analytics are provided by Plausible Analytics — cookie-free, no cross-site tracking, collecting only anonymised aggregate metrics (page views, referrers, country). No cookie consent is required.

6. Your Rights

As a data subject you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — find out what data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.cz).
